Battery, Power Window and Sunroof Reset

During open/close the power window, sunroof, battery (-) cable is removed or installed, or the fuse is replaced initialization of power window should be performed due to the erasure of default motor value.

System Resetting
Auto up/down window Information 
You need to reset the window motor to its default settings for the following cases:
  • During open/close the power windows, in case of not providing battery power connected power window due to the battery replacement, battery discharge and fuse replacement.
Whenever the battery is disconnected, discharged or the related fuse is replaced or reinstalled, reset the Auto up/down window system according to the procedure below.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Pull up the power window switch in order that the window can close completely, and then keep pulling up the power switch for about 1 second.
Panoramaroof During open/close the sunroof, battery power is not provided or discharged, or relavant fuse is replaced, or sunroof is activated using emergency handle, sunroof should be initialized as follows.
Information 
You need to reset the sunroof motor to its default settings for the following cases:
  • During open/close the sunroof, in case of not providing battery power connected sunroof motor due to the battery replacement, battery discharge and fuse replacement.
  • The automatic opening or closing of the sunroof, a one-touch feature, does not function properly.
  • The sunroof reopens during automatic closing even if there is no object caught in the sunroof (safety feature)
  1. During start button is ON, sunroof should be closed completely.
  2. When sunroof is closed completely, hand off the control lever.
  3. Pull the back of the control lever to below to make sunroof window in tilt status, then keep pulling until sunroof is moving slightly once.
  4. Release the control lever and keep pulling the back of the control lever once again, initialization of sunroof is done as sunroof window is opend and closed in slide status. Never release the control lever until sunroof window is closed.
