Repair Procedures: Replacement
[LH]
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the rear seat back assembly [LH].
(Refer to: Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ").
- Remove the rear seat headrest (A).
NOTE:
- Push the LH headrest guide locking button (2).
- Insert a pin into the hole of the RH headrest guide and push the hidden lock plate (3).
- Remove the rear seat headrest (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear seat back cover (A).
- Pull out the rear seat headrest guides (A) while pinching both sides of the lower part of the guides, and remove them.
- After removing both the clips and Velcro tape on the rear of seat back and remove the seat back cover (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- To prevent wrinkles, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the cover (B) before securing the clips (A).
- Replace the Hog-Ring Clips with new ones using Special Tool (C) (09880-4F000).

- Remove the rear seat back armrest.
(Refer to: Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ").
- Remove the rear seat headrest (A).
NOTE:
- Push the LH headrest guide locking button (2).
- Insert a pin into the hole of the RH headrest guide and push the hidden lock plate (3).
- Remove the rear seat headrest (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear seat back cover (A).
- Turn the rear seat back cover inside out. Then pull out the headrest guides (A) while pinching both sides of the lower part of the guides and remove them.
- After removing both the clips and Velcro tape (A) on the rear of seat back and remove the seat back cover (B).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information

- Replace the Hog-Ring Clips with new ones using Special Tool (C) (09880-4F000).
