Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
- Take care NOT to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).
- Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).
- Disconnect the pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front door scuff trim [RH] (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side trim [RH] (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad under cover [RH] (A).
- Disconnect the under lamp connector (A).
- Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).
- After loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad passenger side garnish (A).
- After loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad side garnish assembly [RH] (A).
- After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the glove box upper cover assembly (A) by using a screw driver.
- Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
