Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

NOTE:

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
Take care NOT to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Disconnect the stopper (B) from the glove box (A).

Disconnect the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

Disconnect the pins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front door scuff trim [RH] (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side trim [RH] (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad under cover [RH] (A).

Disconnect the under lamp connector (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

After loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad passenger side garnish (A).

After loosen the mounting screws, remove the crash pad side garnish assembly [RH] (A).

After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the glove box upper cover assembly (A) by using a screw driver.

Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Make sure the connector is connected properly.
- Replace any damaged clips.
