Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect AHLDM connector.
Measure resistance between ground terminal of AHLDM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: below 1.0 [Ω]
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good "head lamp" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "head lamp" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Substitute with a known-good "AHLDM" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "AHLDM" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for open or contact resistance in ground harness.
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
