Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Start the engine and turn on auto head light system.
  3. Monitor "Sensor Angle" parameter in "Current Data" menu on GDS.

    Specification:  45 DEG (No Load)

  4. Is parameter displayed within the Specification?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and AHLDM memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration and/or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
