Component Inspection

  1. Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
  2. IG OFF and then IG ON, again.
  3. Using a GDS, Check DTC present.
  4. Are any DTC's present?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known-good LDWS unit and check for proper operation.

      If problem is corrected, replace LDWS unit and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      * In a case of replacing LDWS unit, operate LDWS Reference Point Calibration by GDS.

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in power harness and/or LDWS unit's connector or was repaired and LDWS ECU memory was not cleared.
    • Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
