Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG Key "ON" -> "ON".
  3. Monitor Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of trouble code.
  4. Are any DTC's present?

    Using a GDS, Check if the same DTC re-sets after clearing DTC.

  5. Is the same DTC detected again?

    YES 

    • Substitute with a known-good "BSD ECU (LH/RH)" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "BSD ECU (LH/RH)" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO
