Power Circuit Inspection

  1. Check for an open or short circuit in the Passenger side Body Sense sensor Mat & ECU Power Circuit.
    1. Disconnect Passenger side PODS-F sensor Mat & ECU connector from wiring harness.
    2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
      1. Measure voltage between terminal "supply voltage" and chassis ground.

        Specification:  Battery Voltage

    3. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

      YES 

      NO 

      • Substitute the Passenger side PODS-F sensor Mat & ECU main harness check for proper operation.

        If the problem is corrected, replace Passenger side PODS-F sensor Mat & ECU main harness then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
