Monitor GDS Data

Connect GDS to data link connector (DLC).
Engine "ON".
Monitor the "Main function activation status, HLL position, DBL position" parameter on the GDS.
Check the operation of "HLL position and DBL position" use Actuation test.

Actuation Test - DBL RIGHT POSITION , refer to Fig 1.

Actuation Test - DBL LEFT POSITION , refer to Fig 2.
Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or AFLS ECU's connector or was repaired and AFLS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
