Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Engine "ON"
  3. perform sensor initialization.

    * REFERENCE* 

    Perform the initializing after replace "Height sensor"

    * Vehicle condition 

    1. Park at lever land
    2. Vehicle speed ≤ 5km/h
    3. Engine r.p.m > 500rpm
    4. Connect GDS
    5. CAN communication is normal status
    6. Battery voltage > 10.5V
    7. Headlamp S/W ON, AFLS ON

      (1) Calibration

      (2) Clear "DTC"

      (3) Confirm the Headlamp movement through the Actuation Test

      (4) Confirm the "DTC" and "Service data"

      Select the Calibration, refer to Fig 1.

      Calibration, refer to Fig 2.

      Actuation Test, refer to Fig 3.

      Engine "ON" - AFLS's current data, refer to Fig 4.

  4. Is parameter displayed within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good AFLS ECU and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace AFLS ECU and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
