Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to data link connector (DLC). And Engine "ON".
  2. Monitor a DTC, if there is a DTC clear it and then check the "AFLS activation switch/button status".
  3. Check an output value after operating Auto light switch.

    Specification:  On status , on operating Auto light switch.

  4. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent and caused either by poor contact in connectors or wiring harness, or it has been repaired and AFLS ECU memory is not cleared yet. Thoroughly check all connectors (and connections) for looseness, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, and/or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
