Component inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect front height sensor connector and rear height sensor connector.
- Check that sensor connector power supply is within the specification after turning IG KEY "ON".
- Connect front height sensor connector and front height sensor connector.
- Measure the voltage of power circuit of each sensor with all connector connected.
Specification: Output voltage is not changed When front height sensor, rear height sensor connecting.
(If the change of sensor power supply occur as connecting sensor connector, this means the occurrence of short inside of sensor.)
YES
- Substitute with a known-good "Height sensor" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "Height sensor" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
* REFERENCE*
Perform the initializing after replace "Height sensor"
* Vehicle condition
- Park at lever land
- Vehicle speed ≤ 5km/h
- Engine r.p.m > 500rpm
- Connect GDS
- CAN communication is normal status
- Battery voltage > 10.5V
- Headlamp S/W ON, AFLS ON
(1) Calibration
(2) Clear "DTC"
(3) Confirm the Headlamp movement through the Actuation Test
(4) Confirm the "DTC" and "Service data"
Select the Calibration, refer to Fig 1.
