Monitor GDS Data

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
ENG "ON"
Monitor the "RPM" parameters on the GDS.
(AFLS and ECM's current data)

Specification: 500rpm above → ON

Engine "ON" - AFLS's current data(Engine Status), refer to Fig 1.

Engine "ON" - ECM's current data(Engine speed signal), refer to Fig 2.
Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or AFLS ECU's connector or was repaired and AFLS ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Engine r.p.m is out of available range (included in ECU output)
  - Check the Engine ECU system and Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure".
- Faulty in only AFLS ECU signal
  - Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
