Roof Trim Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Front seat

      (Refer to the "FRONT SEAT ")

    2. Rear seat

      (Refer to the "REAR SEAT ")

    3. Floor console

      (Refer to the "CONSOLE ")

    4. Sunvisor
    5. Vanity lamp
    6. Room lamp
    7. Assist handle
    8. Overhead console
    9. Front pillar trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

    10. Front door scuff trim & Rear door scuff trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

    11. Canter pillar lower trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

    12. Canter pillar upper trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

    13. Wheel house trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

    14. Rear pillar trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

  2. Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).
  3. Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (B).

  4. Remove the auto defog sensor cover (A).
  5. Disconnect the auto defog sensor connector (B).

  6. Remove the rain sensor cover (A).
  7. Disconnect the rain sensor connector (B).

  8. Disconnect the roof trim main connector (A).

  9. Disconnect the sunroof motor connector (A).

  10. Detach the clips, then remove the roof trim (A).

  11. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    NOTE:
    • Replace any damaged clips.
    • Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
