DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check current (PWM type)
  1. Short circuit in squib harness.
  2. SRSCM.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Squib lines are cross coupled
  • Make other line sink, and one line < 0.6V, then this line is crosscoupled.
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 1 sec
De-Qualification
  • More than 2 sec
