Repair Procedures: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  • Take care not to body surface and other parts.
  1. Remove the following parts
    1. Rear seat assembly

      (Refer to the "REAR SEAT ")

    2. Rear pillar trim

      (Refer to the "INTERIOR TRIM ")

  2. Loosen the quarter fixed glass (A) mounting nut.

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 ~ 4.4 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.45 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 3.3 lb-ft)

  3. Cut out the sealant using the sealant cutting tool [09861-31100].
    CAUTION:
    • Do not scrape down to the painted surface of the body; damaged paint will interfere with proper bonding.
    • Remove the rubber dam and fasteners from the body.
    • Mask off surrounding surfaces before painting.
  4. Remove the quarter fixed glass.
