Trunk / Liftgate Switch: Testing and Inspection
TRUNK LID OPEN SWITCHINSPECTION
1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Disconnect the switch connector (4P) from wiring.
3. Check the switch for continuity between the No.3 and No.4 terminals.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
MAIN TRUNK LID OPEN SWITCH
1. Remove the glove box and lower crash pad panel.
2. Disconnect the switch connector (2P) from wiring.
3. Check the switch for continuity between the No.1 and No.2 terminals.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
