REASSEMBLY





1. Install the special tools (J38402, A-20), spring compressor, on the coil spring and compress the spring. After spring is fully compressed, install it on the shock absorber.








NOTE:
1. Do not use an impact gun.
2. Follow the coil spring installation chart to load classification.

2. Install the dust cover, the upper spring pad, the shock absorber mounting bracket, and the washer in this order and tighten a new self-locking nut temporarily.
3. Position the upper and lower ends of the coil spring in the upper spring pad and lower spring seat grooves correctly.





CAUTION:
1. Install the upper spring pad fitted correctly in the shock absorber mounting bracket
2. Install the spring urethane tube located down.





4. With the position of the bracket assembly being as shown in the illustration, tighten a new self-locking nut.
5. Remove the special tool.





6. Tighten the new self-locking nut to the specified torque.
