FRONT STRUT ASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY





1. Using the special tools (J38402, A-20) called spring compressor, compress the coil spring.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage the special tools.

2. Remove the strut mounting self-locking nut, the washer and the front upper bushing (A) at the top end of the shock absorber.





3. Remove the special tools (J38402, A-20), the front bracket assembly, the front spring upper pad and the front spring.
