Power Brake Booster Check Valve

CAUTION: If the check valve is defective, replace it if an assembly unit together with the vacuum hose. When checking the check valve, keep the check valve fit in the vacuum hose. The check valve is press-fitted inside the vacuum hose at the position of the marking. See Fig 1 .
  1. Remove the vacuum hose. See Fig 1 .
  2. Check the operation of the check valve by using a vacuum pump. See CHECK VALVE OPERATION CHECK  table. See Fig 2 .

Connection At Brake Booster Side (A) A Negative Pressure (Vacuum) Is Created And Held
Connection At Intake Manifold Side (B) A Negative Pressure (Vacuum) Is Not Created
