Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Apply sealant to the sensor's threads. Tighten it to the specified torque.

    Recommended sealant 

    Three bond NO. 2310 or LOCTITE 962T

    Tightening torque 

    The coolant sensor :

    20 ~ 40 Nm (200 ~ 400 kg.cm, 14 ~ 29 lb.ft)

  2. Connect the coolant sensor to the harness.
  3. Connect the ground cable of battery.
  4. Refill the coolant.
