Front Disc Brake Pads: Installation

  1. To compress piston into caliper, install hose onto bleed screw, and open bleed screw. Using Special Tool (009581-11000) or equivalent brake piston compressing tool, press piston back into caliper bore. Tighten bleed screw when piston is seated into caliper bore.
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten caliper guide bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
