Fuel Gauge
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit connector located under rear seat cushion. Connect a 12-volt, 3.4-watt test light between fuel gauge sending unit harness connector terminals No. 2 (Blue wire) and No. 5 (Black wire). See Fig 1 .
- Turn ignition on. Test bulb should illuminate and fuel gauge needle gradually move to "F" full position. If test bulb does not illuminate and fuel gauge needle does not move, check circuits between harness connector fuel gauge and ground connection. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary. If circuits are okay, replace fuel gauge.
NOTE:
There are 3 Instrument cluster 16-pin harness connectors. Connector I21-1 is located on driver's side of instrument cluster. Connector I21-2 is located in the middle of the instrument cluster. Connector I21-3 is located on passenger's side of instrument cluster.
