Parking Brake Switch
Remove center console assembly. Disconnect parking brake switch harness connector located at base of parking brake lever. Check for continuity between ground and parking brake switch terminal. See Fig 1 Continuity should exist with parking brake applied. Continuity should not exist with parking brake released. If continuity is not as specified, ensure switch is properly adjusted. If necessary, move switch mount up or down with parking brake lever fully released. If switch adjustment is okay, replace parking brake switch.
