DTC C2112: Abs Valve Relay Or Fuse Failure: Condition

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Hyundai XG350. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

When ignition switch is turned on, HECU switches ABS valve relay off and on during initial check. In that way, HECU compares signals sent to ABS valve relay with voltage in the ABS valve power monitor line. This checks that ABS valve relay is operating normally. HECU constantly checks that current is flowing in the ABS valve power monitor line. DTC sets when HECU determines that there is an open circuit when no current flows, or if no current flows in the ABS valve power monitor line. For DTC to set, reference voltage of the valve relay is outside the permitted range, continuously for 56 msec, or when valve relay is switched off, reference voltage of ABS valve relay is more than specified continuously for 56 msec.
