Fuel Gauge Sending Unit (Elantra - Without Trip Computer)

Remove fuel gauge sending unit from fuel tank. Measure fuel gauge sending unit resistance between sending unit terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure. Replace fuel gauge sending unit if resistance does not change smoothly when float is moved from empty to full position and back.
