Remove door switch to be tested. With switch in extended position (door open), continuity should exist between switch housing and terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1. With switch depressed (door closed), continuity should not exist between either terminal or between either terminal and switch housing. If continuity is not as specified, replace door switch.
