Front Disc Brake Pads: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel. Remove caliper lower guide bolt. Rotate caliper upward, and wire in position. Remove disc pads, shims and springs. Note location and order of assembly for installation reference.
  2. Check disc pad minimum thickness wear limit specification. See appropriate table under DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS .
