Remove defogger switch connector. Check continuity between indicated switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See DEFOGGER SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. See Fig 1. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.

⁽¹⁾	Terminals No. 1 and 4 are for switch illumination circuit and should always have continuity. Also, terminals No. 2 and 5 are for indication light circuit and should always have continuity.
