Clutch Pedal Free Play & Height

Measure clutch pedal free play at pedal pad. Clutch pedal free play should be .236-.512" (6-13 mm). If free play is not within specification, adjust pedal free play by lengthening or shortening clutch master cylinder push rod.
When clutch pedal is adjusted properly, distance (height) between top center of clutch pedal and floorboard should be 3.543" (90.00 mm) when clutch releases. If clutch does not release completely at this point, check for air in hydraulic system or faulty clutch master or slave cylinder.
