Removal (Sonata)
- Raise and support frame rail of vehicle with jack stands. Remove shock absorber mounting nuts. See Fig 1. Remove brake caliper and and disc, and remove brake hose clamp bolt.
- Loosen parking brake cable adjusting nut, and then remove parking brake cable from vehicle. Remove trailing arm mounting bolt and nut. Support crossmember with transaxle jack when removing crossmember mounting bolts. Lower suspension and remove as an assembly. See Fig 1.
