Removal & Installation (Except Sonata)

  1. Remove lower control arm. See LOWER CONTROL ARM . Using a screwdriver, remove dust cover from ball joint. Remove snap ring. Press ball joint from control arm using Ball Joint Remover/Installer. See SPECIAL TOOLS  table.
  2. To install, press ball joint into control arm using ball joint remover/installer. See SPECIAL TOOLS  table. Install snap ring. Reinstall control arm.
