Check Passenger-side AIR Bag Squib Circuit

  1. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 13 (White/Black wire) on SRSCM wire harness connector. If resistance is not infinite, replace wire harness between SRSCM and passenger-side air bag module. If resistance is infinite, go to next step.
  2. Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position. Connect passenger-side air bag connector. Connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Wait 30 seconds. Clear DTC"s in scan tool. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Wait 30 seconds.
    NOTE: DTC"s other than B1354 may be recorded in scan tool. They are not relevant to this test.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Wait 30 seconds. Check for DTC"s in scan tool. If DTC B1354 is in scan tool memory, replace passenger-side air bag module. If DTC B1354 is not in scan tool memory, system is functioning normally.
