Removal & Installation (Elantra & Tiburon)

  1. Loosen the locking nut of the tensioner.
  2. Sufficiently lessen the tension of the compressor drive belt by turning the tension adjusting bolt counterclockwise. See Fig 1.
  3. Derail the compressor drive belt from the compressor pulley.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure.
