Sunroof Assembly: Sonata

Remove overhead console lamp, sun visors and inside rear view mirror. Remove pillar trim panels and assist handles. Remove glass panel mounting nuts. Remove glass panel.
Disconnect drain hose. Remove sunroof mounting bolts and nuts. Lower sunroof assembly into vehicle interior. Remove sunroof assembly.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure motor limiter switches (LS1 and LS2) are in fully closed position. Align guide roller and slider at fully closed position. See Fig 2 and Fig 3 . Adjust glass panel height as necessary. See GLASS PANEL HEIGHT under ADJUSTMENTS.
