Elantra & Sonata

  1. Remove overhead console. Remove relay to be tested. See Figure. Check relay continuity using ohmmeter. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3, and between terminals No. 2 and 6. See Figure. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 1 and 4. If relay tests as specified, go to next step. If relay does not test as specified, replace sunroof relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 2 and 6. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 4. If relay tests as specified, relay is okay. If relay does not test as specified, replace sunroof relay.
