Front Disc Brake Pads: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheel. Remove caliper lower guide bolt. Rotate caliper upward and wire in position. Remove disc pads, shims and springs; noting location and order of assembly for installation reference.
  2. Check disc pad minimum thickness wear limit specification. See appropriate DISC BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
