Fuel Gauge Sending Unit

Remove fuel gauge sending unit from fuel tank. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance of sending unit in each float position, between terminals No. 1 and 6 of sending unit. See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE TEST . SeeFigure . Replace fuel gauge sending unit if resistance is not as specified.
