Front Disc Brake Pads: Installation

  1. To compress piston into caliper, install hose onto bleed screw and open bleed screw. Using hammer handle or similar, press piston back into caliper bore. Tighten bleed screw when piston is seated in caliper bore.
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten caliper guide bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Bleed brake system.
