Bleeding Procedures

  1. Ensure master cylinder reservoir is full of brake fluid. Connect hose to wheel cylinder bleed screw and insert other end of hose in a clear container partly filled with brake fluid.
  2. Slowly pump brake pedal several times. While depressing brake pedal, loosen bleed screw at right rear wheel cylinder until fluid starts to flow. Then close bleed screw.
  3. Repeat operation until there are no bubbles in fluid. Tighten bleed screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Repeat procedure for left front, left rear and right front, in that order.
