Rear Suspension Assembly: Reassembly

  1. If dust cover has been removed, slide NEW dust cover up to stopper on right side suspension arm. Apply grease to inside of left suspension arm. Using right suspension arm, install rubber stopper into left suspension arm.
  2. Apply grease to outer surfaces of bushings "A" and "B". Using Bushing Installer (0955-21100) and Handle (09555-21000), install bushing "B" until notch on handle is even with end of suspension arm. Using bushing installer and handle, install bushing "A". Install stabilizer bar. Slowly push suspension arms together and wipe away excess grease.
  3. Ensure stabilizer bar marks align with punch mark on brackets. Install inner and outer rubber bushings, fixtures and washers. Ensure toothed side of washer faces bushing. Align fixtures with suspension arm according to alignment marks, and install nuts.
  4. Tighten nuts with vehicle at normal operating height and with no load. Pack dust cover with grease, and secure dust cover with NEW clamp.
