Line Pressure Adjustment
- Drain transaxle and remove oil pan and filter. Using care to prevent manual valve from falling out, remove valve body assembly.
- Turn adjusting screw on regulator valve to adjust pressure to standard value of 124-126 psi (8.7-8.9 kg/cm2
). See Fig 1
. One complete turn clockwise decreases pressure by 4.6 psi (.3 kg/cm2
). For each turn counterclockwise, pressure is increased by same value.
- Ensure "O" ring is installed on upper surface of valve body. Install valve body, and tighten bolts to 89-102 INCH lbs. (10-11.5 N.m). Install components in reverse order of removal.
