KICKDOWN Servo Switch
- Using ohmmeter, check continuity between switch connector terminal No. 1 (terminal No. 7 on KM177 transaxle) and transaxle case. See Fig 1
. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, check for poor connection, damaged or disconnected wire. If wire is okay, replace kickdown servo switch.
- Apply parking brake, and start engine. Place selector lever in "L" position and allow engine to idle. Check continuity between switch connector terminal No. 1 (terminal No. 7 on KM177 transaxle) and transaxle case. If continuity does not exist, servo switch is okay. If continuity exists, replace servo switch.
