Accelerator Switch

  1. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 with accelerator pedal released. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, check for proper installation of accelerator switch. Adjust switch if necessary. Replace switch if it cannot be adjusted.
  2. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2 with accelerator pedal slightly depressed. Continuity should not exist. If continuity exists, check accelerator switch installation. Adjust if necessary. Replace switch if it cannot be adjusted.
