Planetary Gear Assembly: Reassembly

Install thrust bearing into planetary gear assembly. Install end plate to overrunning clutch. See Figure . Install overrunning clutch to planetary gear assembly with arrow (stamped on outside of overrunning clutch) pointing toward planetary gears. Install end plate and lock plate. Tighten bolts to 18-26 ft. lbs. (25-35 N.m). Bend tabs of lock plate to secure plate to planetary gear assembly.
