Planetary Gear Assembly: Disassembly
Straighten tabs of lock plate and remove lock plate. See Fig 1 . Remove 3 bolts securing overrunning clutch to planetary gear assembly. Remove bearing end plates and overrunning clutch. Remove thrust bearing from planetary gear assembly. Check overrunning clutch sprag, spring and outer race for damage. Inspect thrust bearing. Replace parts as required.
