Power Brake Unit Check Valve

Remove check valve from power brake booster unit, leaving engine vacuum hose attached to check valve. Place finger over check valve hole. Start engine. Vacuum should be felt. Leave finger on check valve hole and turn off engine. Vacuum should be maintained after engine is turned off. If vacuum is not as described, check vacuum hose and its connections for leaks, and/or replace check valve.
