Front Disc Brake Caliper: Disassembly

Remove brake hose. See Fig 1 . Remove pin and sleeve boots. Remove caliper piston boot. Place a wooden block between piston and caliper. Using light compressed air, at brake hose fitting, remove piston from caliper. Remove piston seal and dust boot.

CAUTION: DO NOT place fingers between piston and wooden block when removing piston.
