Coolant Temperature Gauge

Attach ohmmeter leads across temperature gauge terminals on back of instrument cluster. SeeFigure . Resistance should be 42 ohms. If resistance is low, check for shorted temperature gauge coil. If resistance is high, check for open wire to gauge coil.
