Circuit/System Verification

IMPORTANT: Allow brakes to cool down before performing test.
  1. Ignition On, verify that DTC U2142 or C0292 is not set.
    • If any of the DTCs are set, Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle.
  2. With a scan tool clear the DTC.
  3. Test drive the vehicle while observing the scan tool Yaw Rate and Lateral Accelerometer Sensor parameter. The parameters should vary as the vehicle changes directions.
    • If the parameters are locked or erratic, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor.
  4. Replace the EBCM.
